ABOUT
Adam is a composer for film and television based in London.
He is currently working with composer Lorne Balfe, most recently working on various projects including Warner Bros. Black Adam, Secret Headquarters on Paramount+ and Ticket To Paradise starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts. Adam has written music for the recent Joey Essex: Grief And Me documentary on BBC and the WTV's reality show Dating With My Mates. He's also recently written additional music for the documentary All Or Nothing: Juventus, currently on Amazon Prime.
Adam has developed a reputation for being a bold and inventive composer, leaning towards a gritty, contemporary sound. He tends to combine his understanding of traditional scoring practices and instrumentation with an urge for experimentation, electronic textures, and a background in contemporary classical composition. Bringing a unique soundworld to each project, all with the underlying passion for storytelling. Some of his work has seen him record his music at Angel Studios and Air Studios in London.
He contributed music for several composers including Sarah Warne (ITV's thriller drama Our House & 14 Ways documentary), Alexandra Harwood (The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Society, Thatcher: A Very British Revolution) Ben Bartlett (Vera, Britain's Got Talent Promo) and most recently writing additional music for Jack Halama on Amazon Prime's All Or Nothing: Juventus documentary.
He studied piano and trumpet from an early age, before going on to study contemporary composition at Cardiff University School of Music, where he has since frequently returned as a visiting tutor. He later studied Composing for Film & TV at the National Film & Television School, having been awarded a scholarship from The Alan Hawkshaw Foundation . In addition to this, Adam was selected for the 2019 BFI Network x BAFTA Crew Programme.
