Adam is a highly versatile composer for film and television based in London.
He is currently working with composer Lorne Balfe (Mission Impossible, Ad Astra) and 14th Street Music. Most recently, Adam has written music for the ITV Documentary 'Wild Tokyo' alongside Alexandra Harwood (The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Society, Thatcher: A Very British Revolution), and also assisted her on her work for Northern Ballet's, Geisha. He has also assisted composers such as Ben Bartlett on series 10 of ITV's British crime drama, Vera, as well as the recent ITV 'Britain's Got Talent' promo.
His music can be heard on numerous award-winning projects, including the much acclaimed animation 'Dimensions', which was awarded the Royal Television Society Award and 'Rachel', which won Best Drama at the Alternative Film Festival.
Adam has developed a reputation for being a bold and inventive composer; combining an understanding of traditional scoring practices and instrumentation with an urge for experimentation, electronic textures, and a background in contemporary classical composition. Bringing a unique soundworld to each project, all with the underlying passion for storytelling. Some of his work has seen him record his music at Angel Studios and Air Studios in London.
He studied piano and trumpet from an early age, before going on to study contemporary composition at Cardiff University School of Music. He later studied Composing for Film & TV at the National Film & Television School, having been awarded a scholarship from The Alan Hawkshaw Foundation .
Adam is also a qualified Yamaha teacher and since 2016, he frequently returns to Cardiff University School of Music as a visiting tutor. Earlier this year, Adam was selected for the 2019 BFI Network x BAFTA Crew Programme.
